GRAND PRIZE GIVEAWAY FROM WILD & WINDY IN THE CITY BOOK SIGNING~ CHICAGO 5/7/2016

HI EVERYONE!! We had a great time at the signing in Chicago. There were sooo many authors to meet and not enough time. However, we got our fair share of author loving in, so here is a few pics we brought home to share with all of you. :)

After meeting all of the authors that we did... we decided that our two favorites were J.A. Huss and J.D. Hollyfield. J.A. Huss, is so amazing and talented, and J.D. Hollyfield, wins the most personable author in attendance. She was so sweet and approachable.

Overall, we had a great experience for our first signing event attended by either Sunni or myself (Theresa). If J.D. Hollyfield gets the most personable award from BookRelations, then J.A. Huss gets the... Badass Super Author award from me lol. :)

My only regret is not getting a photo with her, but considering her line was so long, I didn't want to hold it up any longer. We waited for so long to see her and Chelle Bliss (loved her, too). It was totally worth it! :)

Can't go anywhere without some type of drama these days, can ya?
Well, part of the reason we had to wait so long to see author J.A. Huss was because they were handing out bracelets for some authors, and we were assigned numbers called in small groups based off our bracelets to reduce the lines and save us time.
Yep, so people were not actually putting the bracelets on the writs of those who were getting them, and some people were handing off their bracelets to their friends so their friends wouldn't have to wait for their number to be called. At first, everyone thought the lines were just moving super slow, but it was soon discovered what was really going on.
We were lucky to get to see some of these authors because of this. I understand the excitement and all, but it's not fair to others who purchased books from those authors for the signing, too. Wait your turn!! It's a shame that this happened, but all worked out for us and really hope that there were not any people who didn't get to see an author because of this greediness.
Not only that, but J.A. Huss was kind enough to offer a free book to the first 100 people who were in her line. We didn't even know about it until we got up to her table, but others did and this was part of the reason for handing off their bracelets to their friends. That was so sweet of J.A. Huss to do and of course others have to ruin a good thing. I mean, it must be flattering to the author that people are trying to find ways to cheat the system just to get their hands on one of her books, but it's selfish and rude to those who should have rightfully received their free book from the author. Luckily, we were not affected by this either, but it's no doubt that others were robbed of their chance. Oh well, what can we do?!! There will always be people out there who take advantage of others and have a complete lack of respect. ANYWAY: Enough about that... MORE SIGNING PHOTOS. :)

So those are only some of the authors who we were able to meet. Other authors included, Penelope Douglas, Kendall Ryan, Meghan March, H.J. Bellus, M.J. Fields, Michelle Mankin, Jessica Hawkins, Rochelle Paige, Elle Christensen, and I'm sure there are many more I'm not thinking off at this moment. Sorry if I missed you.

SO HAPPY WE WERE ABLE TO ATTEND THIS EVENT AND A HUGE HUGE THANK YOU TO ALPHA'S DO IT BETTER BOOK BLOG FOR HOLDING A GIVEAWAY FOR TICKETS TO THIS SOLD OUT SIGNING EVENT; WHICH SUNNI HAD WON.
We hope to attend another event next year with the same authors so that we can see those who we didn't have time to see, and see the ones we did see, again. :) Definitely wishing that we can have early access tickets next year. We'll see!!
GIVEAWAY: THERE IS A GRAND PRIZE OPEN GIVEAWAY ON OUR FACEBOOK BLOG PAGE, BOOKRELATIONS THAT CLOSES ON SUNDAY. Go get your entries for a chance to win a tote bag signed by many of these lovely authors as well as a paperback copy of 18 by J.A. Huss.
Going to feature some of these authors on the blog over the next few months. :)

Eighteen is hard.
And so is Mateo Alesci.
Hard to read, hard to predict, hard in every way that counts.
He wants things from me.
Dirty things, nasty things, forbidden things.
And I have to give in.
His attention is completely inappropriate, but I can’t say no.
The way he looks at me… the way he watches me through my bedroom window… the way he drags me deeper and deeper into his completely forbidden fantasy just… turns me on.
He knows it turns me on.
He holds all the power. He holds all the cards. He holds my entire future in his hands.
And I have to give in.
Because Mr. Alesci is my teacher.
And I need everything he’s offering.

WINNER WILL BE SELECTED SUNDAY EVENING!! BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR PAGE ON FACEBOOK AND FIND YOUR WAY TO FREE TITLES AND OTHER GIVEAWAYS. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! THANKS FOR READING!! :)
